The history and heritage of Sri Lankan coffee date back to as far as the colonial era, long before Ceylon tea was introduced, and to date, Ceylon coffee remains a household name globally among coffee connoisseurs. Sri Lankan highlands offer a distinct flavour profile to Ceylon coffee with complex characteristics and unique notes, while soil variations and elevations help distinguish each region's coffee.

Badulla, which has a mixed elevation, produces a mix of Arabica and Robusta coffee beans and in turn offers a wide spectrum of bold flavours and caffeine content suitable for the global market. Sri Lanka (Ceylon) Badulla Region Raw Coffee Beans are processed according to the region's traditional time-tested method of processing, which is influenced by the sun exposure of the season, the farmer groups or the plantation's expertise and also the altitude that can determine whether it's a Wet or Dry method that is used.

Collected in small batches from small groups of farmers and selected plantation partners who follow responsible farming practices, we make sure that the raw coffee beans are carefully selected. They are then sent to our facility where we screen, grade and sort the beans according to their overall quality and moisture levels. They are then packed under the best hygienic practices and made available for global delivery.
